Children’s Television
An art in television is to appear comfortable in front of the camera, and you can rest assured that if a child isn't comfortable you'll soon hear about it! We recognise the importance of making a programme with children is that it needs to be fun – a principle that applies to working with adults as well!

Lifestyle
The various Lifestyle programming created by Cutting Edge Productions, have varied from high paced aerobics, to the less strenuous pace of scenic views from some of the most beautiful locations in the British Isles. We’ve been on location golfing in Carolina, gardening in Guernsey, wine tasting in London, food creating in France as well as meeting with Europe’s largest Rolls Royce dealership, admiring the artistry of Christian Dior and exclusively revealing the latest from Aston Martin.

Our cameras have been where the action is, at just the right time. Creating programmes that excite and interest the viewer.

Drama and Documentary
Cutting Edge Productions has been responsible for a number of outstanding documentaries, with issues ranging from drug rehabilitation to humanitarian relief work in Eastern Europe and aid to war torn countries such as Afghanistan.

We have filmed from London’s West End Theatres as well as from the East End, where we produced a documentary on London’s hard men – debt collectors and bodyguards!

We often work in partnership with publishers or organisations who have a story to tell and need help getting it onto the small screen. We offer a bespoke service, allowing for the creativity of others to complement that which we can bring to a project.

Sport
Our Outside Broadcast Van has been used over the years for many sporting occasions recording for cable and satellite clients as it is very easy to set up and start recording. With multi video recorders installed as part of the package, we can offer both slo-mo replays and live on screen graphics enabling the client to have a programme that only requires top and tailing prior to transmission.

Ice Hockey is a game that can frighten those who watch it-never mind those that film it! It is the fastest team sport in the world and renowned for its action and skill. Cutting Edge has been the production unit recording British National Ice Hockey games over recent seasons. Our expertise in sports production is not just limited to Ice Hockey though as we have also filmed International Badminton, International Lacrosse, Basketball, Boxing and covered Premiership football for RTL5 in Holland.
